Specialties Fred’s Train Shop sells new, used and vintage trains in all scales (Z, N, HO, S, TT, O & G). Located in the heart of historic downtown Overland Park,KS (Kansas City area) we offer products from a wide variety of manufacturers as well as an extensive scenery line. In addition to our new products we also have a nice selection of vintage trains from Lionel postwar/prewar, American Flyer postwar/prewar, Marx, Marklin, LGB, various HO & N brands as well as railroad memorabilia like vintage timetables, ticket passes, books, tools, etc. and even some vintage toys & plastic models. We offer repair service for new & vintage trains in all scales Z through G. Authorized Lionel, MTH and Marklin Dealer & Lionel/MTH Repair Station. History Established in 2010 Fred’s Train Shop opened in June 2010 to fill a void in the Kansas City area marketplace – we are now the only train store in the surrounding area that carries all scales (Z-G) of trains and accessories. We are an authorized Lionel, MTH and Marklin dealer and repair station. We also offer vintage toy train repair (& restoration), train value estimates. scale model and train layout construction, silicone mold making and resin casting.
