Rich L. After a year in the Electrical Engineering program at the University of Kansas, Audio Video Information & Entertainment Systems (AVIES) owner Rich Liston enlisted in the United States Air Force, ultimately serving 12-years and leaving as a Master Technician/Craftsman specializing in maintaining and modifying airborne laser and video weapons targeting systems. At the end of 1997, Rich and his family decided to return to the Kansas City area. Rich was hired as a technician at James Grunder and Associates but was promoted to Director of Engineering within six months.
